Sabca was founded in 1920 with the task of designing and building aircraft for the emerging air transport in Belgium. The plant was located on the Haren Airport, in the suburbs of Brussels. Several designs were put on the market by the company before World War II, in parallel with the production of numerous civil and military aircraft. After the war, Sabca became a major partner for the Belgian military aircraft production and upgrade programs.
Later on, Sabca was among the first participants to the European Space Program – for which our company has become a European centre of excellence. Sabca is also on board many civil aircraft for many years and produces actuators and metal and composite parts for commercial airplanes and business jets.
With more than 100 years of experience in designing, manufacturing, maintaining and upgrading complex elements for aircraft and space launchers, Sabca has a variety of capabilities at hand for space, aviation, defence and the general industries. Being present in different markers offers great advantages for Sabca and its partners.
